passed away Saturday, June 11, 2016, at
Logan Elm Health Care after an extended
illness. She was born June 21, 1945 in
Circleville, the daughter of Clifford and
Ella Mae (Stapleton) Coates. She was
preceded in death by her parents; sons,
Ronald W. Schwalbauch and Dennis
McCain; and brother, Garry Coates.
Joyce was a loving mother whose family
meant everything to her. She worked
hard to provide for her 6 children.
Joyce is survived by her daughters,
Shelley Stroud, Shawna Schwalbauch;
sons, Chad Trego and Shannon Schwalbauch;
grandchildren, Shane, Zach, Isaiah, Erica,
Meghan, Maddie, Noah and Avery; sisters, Taska Coates and
Janice Hardy; nieces and nephews; and many friends.
Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM,
Wednesday, June 15, 2016 at Defenbaugh-
Wise-Schoedinger Funeral Home with
Pastor Ty Myers officiating. Burial will be in
Forest Cemetery. Friends may call from
4:00 – 7:00 PM Tuesday at the funeral
home.
