

Judith “Judy” Harter, 65, of Circleville, passed away on Easter Sunday, March 31, 2013 at Mt. Carmel Medical Center in Columbus. She was born February 25, 1948 in Circleville, the daughter of Emmett and Jewell (Lemaster) Hinton. She was preceded in death by her father; and husbands, Robert Neal and James Harter. Judy grew up in St. Paul United Methodist Church. She graduated from Taylor Cosmetology School in Chillicothe and worked at Orient State Institute in activity therapy until it closed. She retired from The Home Center where she had been an office manager for her son, Rob. Judy enjoyed crocheting and making outfits, shawls and gifts for her grandchildren, newborns and the church bazaar. She was able to travel to many different places throughout her life with her family and friends. Judy leaves behind her loving family, mother, Jewell Hinton; sons, Rob (Kimberly Pack) Neal, David (Jody) Perry and Rodney Perry; grandchildren, twins, Robert and Richard Neal, Matthew, Michael and Morgan Perry and Anna Perry; great-granddaughter, Kali Ann; sister, Juanita (Merle) Johnston; brothers, Jim (Saundra) Hinton and Gary (Becky Davis) Hinton; many nieces and nephews; and special friend, Maryellen Hughes.
A celebration of life service will be held at 10:00 A.M. Thursday, April 4, 2013 at Defenbaugh-Wise-Schoedinger Funeral Home with Pastor Doug Shriner officiating. Burial will be in Forest Cemetery.
