

Julia Danielle "Julie" Bailey, age 35, passed away suddenly on December 23, 2016. She was born on April 20, 1981 to Claude "Rob" and Debra (Sech) Bailey. She was preceded in death by grandparents, Claude Bailey, Sr., Paul and Loretta (Perkins) Sech; and uncle, Jim Louden. Julie is survived by her loving parents, Rob and Debbie Bailey; grandmother, Viola Bailey; uncles, Paul (Jane) Sech and Chuck (Tammy) Sech; aunt, Connie Louden; cousins, Dawn (Darrell) Robinson, Cassie and Evan Robinson, Michael and Darren Sech, Paul Sech, Jr.; great-aunts, Nellie Hughes and Sandy Wood; and great-uncle, Andy Sech. Julie was a graduate of Briggs H.S. where she excelled in varsity volleyball and softball. She went on to attend Southeast Career Center's Law Enforcement Program. Upon graduation, she became the first female police officer for the Franklin Township Police Department. After moving to Marysville, she took a position with Tri-County Corrections as a prison guard. Julie had a zest for life and was spunky and outspoken. She enjoyed spending time with friends and family and standing up for what she believed in. She will be missed by all who knew her. Memorial visitation will be held 12 - 1 p.m. Friday, December 30, 2016 at the SCHOEDINGER GROVE CITY CHAPEL, 3920 Broadway, Grove City, Ohio where memorial service will follow at 1 p.m. Inurnment Green Lawn Cemetery.
