Julie Anne (McDevitt) Tucker, age 78, of Columbus, Ohio passed away on February 14, 2026. She was on born on April 2, 1947 to the late John and Della (Fulk) McDevitt. Julie joins in death her parents; sister MaryAnne Jan and nephew John Jan. She leaves behind her loving husband Harold A. Tucker whom she celebrated 58 wonderful years of marriage with on Nov. 18, 2025. Also surviving are nieces Jerry Jan, Jenny Jan and Jody Mitchell. Julie was a member of the Eastern Star and served as Worthy Matron for the Worthington Chapel #287 in 1990 and 1995. She was the Grand Representative of Kansas in Ohio in 1994. She loved to collect teddy bears and could often be found working in the yard alongside her husband Harold. Julie also known for making one of her favorite sweet treats.....Buckeyes. Visitation will be held on Thursday Feb. 19, 2026 from 5PM to 7PM with an Eastern Star service starting at 7PM at the Advantage by Schoedinger – Hilltop Chapel, 3030 W Broad St., Columbus, Ohio 43204. Funeral service will be held on Friday February 20, 2026 at 10AM at the funeral home with burial to follow in Alton Cemetery in Galloway, Ohio. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in her name to Nationwide Children’s Hospital, 700 Children’s Drive, Columbus, Ohio 43205.
