Karen Mitchell Biles

Karen Mitchell Biles, age 64, passed away at her home on Thursday, September 25, 2014. Karen was born in Columbus on July 30, 1950 to Nancy and Francis Mitchell. Karen graduated from the Ohio State University and spent her career educating children with special needs in Baltimore, MD and Columbus city schools. Karen was a devoted wife and mother of three, and enjoyed collecting antiques, rescuing animals, gardening, spending time at the beach, and music. She could fill up a room with her voice and warm it with her heart.

Karen is survived by her loving husband of 36 years, Robert, her children Ryan (Erin), Lauren and Colin, her parents Francis and Nancy, and her beloved dogs, Gabby and Darby. She has been reunited with her other dogs, Kody, Duffy and Kooper in heaven.

Family will receive friends from 4 - 6 p.m., Tuesday, September 30, 2014 at Schoedinger Northwest Chapel, 1740 Zollinger Road in Upper Arlington, where her Funeral Service will follow at 6pm.
