Kathleen Cecelia Buffum

Kathleen Cecelia Buffum, age 62, of Grove City, OH, passed away June 8, 2015 from Inflammatory Breast Cancer at her home. She was born on June 15, 1952 in Washington DC to the late Stephen and Irene Orsini. She is survived by her loving husband of 42 years, Eric J. Buffum; daughter; Stephanie (Rashad) Washington, sons; Michael (Stephanie) Buffum, Vincent (Merrisa) Buffum, and Anthony Buffum. She was the best Nana ever to Aiden, Alexis, Savannah, Anthony, Noah and Blake! Kathleen was the oldest of 9 siblings. She is survived by Maggie (Dick) Winkler, Joe (Molly) Orsini, Steve (Sally) Orsini, Gina Smith, Jim Orsini, Mike (Kennetha) Orsini, Bill (Tammy) Orsini, Cecelia (Terry) Wilson, and special sister-in-law Kim Buffum. Kathleen loved and cherished her many many nieces and nephews. Those who met her loved her. She was known as a loyal, faithful, courageous, loving, and devoted woman. As one of Jehovah’s Witnesses she had keen spiritual insight and was very active and enjoyed teaching Bible truths to many. She had a mother’s intuition like no other and was always a peace keeper. She was more than a capable wife (Prov. 31). She will be deeply missed by the hundreds of lives she has touched. Her faith in her God Jehovah was like a fine pearl. Her family awaits anxiously for God’s kingdom to reunite us!! A memorial service will be held at 2pm on Saturday June 13, 2015 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness 4371 Grove City Rd. Grove City, OH 43123 with Rich Halfhill officiating. Contributions may be made to the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness at the address above.
