

Lenore Kathryn “Kay” (nee Sosey) Bradford passed away on April 4, 2015. She was born April 25, 1925 in Columbus, Ohio. Preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Bradford and her son, John “Chip” Bradford. She has been a resident of Upper Arlington, Ohio for over seventy years. Kay loved her family, her home and garden, her friends, volunteering, tennis, bridge, and scratch. She is a long time member of First Community Church and Group Y. Kay was an enthusiastic fan of The Ohio State University, attending many of the athletic events as a member of the Buckeye Club, where she volunteered on Wednesday afternoons. In addition, she was a volunteer at the SIC Unit at University Hospital for over 20 years and recently volunteered at the Stephanie Spielman Center in the radiation department. She was a very devoted and loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She will be deeply missed by her friends and family. She is survived by her daughters, Lynn (David) Abbot, Judy (Jeff) Brown and Jan (Garry) Koch; 5 grandchildren, Steve and Chris Abbot, Andrew Bradford, Emily Adams and Kyle Brown; and 6 great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 25, 2015 at 9:30am at First Community Church, 1320 Cambridge Blvd., Columbus, Rev. James Long, officiating. A reception will follow in Brownlee Hall.
