Kathryn Martha Carroll, of Columbus, died Sunday, July 27, 2014. She was born in Colliers, WV to the late Frank and Merle (Aston) Hindman. She was a graduate of Frazeysburg High School and a member of Asbury United Methodist Church. She enjoyed baking pies and cooking big family meals. She was the ideal family matriarch, gentle, loving sweet and kind and will be forever missed. She is preceded in death by her husband Larry. She is survived by 3 daughters Linda Gasdaglis, Judy (Terry) Potts and Joan (Michael) Strickland, 6 grandchildren James, Tara, Katherine, Michelle, Curtis and Michael and brother Harold (Shirley) Hindman. Family will receive friends Wednesday, July 30, 2014 from 6-8 PM at SCHOEDINGER EAST CHAPEL, 5360 E. Livingston Ave where a funeral service will be held Thursday, July 31, 2014 at 11 AM. Memorial contributions may be made to Mount Carmel Hospice.
