

Kathryn Lyday, age 84, passed away on April 4, 2011 at Mount Carmel Medical Center. She was born in Columbus on November 17, 1926 to the late Robert and Ruth Hughes. Kathryn has been a member of St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church of Grove City since 1957. She was a past president and member of the Wildwood Garden Club and a past member of the Fox Fire Ladies Golf League. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack; and brother, Carlton Hughes. She is survived by her son, Richard L. (Jeannie) Lyday of Grove City; daughter, Deborah L. (Charles) Manofsky of Upper Arlington; grandchildren, Brian Lyday, Matt, Ben, Kate and Anne Manofsky, and Charla (Brad) Buncher; great grandchildren, Nathan and Adyson Lyday; sister, Norma Jean (Robert) Eesley; brother–in-laws, Russell (Ruth) Crispin of Florida and Howard (Marie) Crispin of Georgia; several nieces, nephews and close friends. Friends may call from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm, Friday, April 8, 2011 at the SCHOEDINGER GROVE CITY CHAPEL 3920 Broadway Grove City. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, April 9, 2011 at St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church, 3220 Columbus St., Grove City. Pastor Donald Allman officiating. Interment at Concord Cemetery.
