Kenneth Clark Sorenson

K.C was born and raised in Fullerton, California. He attended Fullerton High School and Brigham Young University. He proudly served in the United States Air Force for 24 years before retiring in 1985 at Wright Patterson Air Force Base. During his military career he served his country in Southeast Asia, Panama and Turkey. KC also had a career as a realtor in Columbus during which time he traveled with Hotdog Harry to Korea. KC also loved the theatre and spent many years directing as well as performing in amateur productions. He was an avid lover of golf, The Ohio State Buckeye’s, the LA Dodgers and the Kansas City Royals. KC was also a wine connoisseur and a lover of music.

KC is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Charlene (Charli) Hapes Sorenson; son Steven (Jennifer) Sorenson; daughter Vicki Sorenson; son Mark (Jeana) Fellows; son David (Carolyn) Fellows; granddaughter Celina (Nizar) Dhamani and great- granddaughter Zorra Dhamani as well as many relatives in California.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 26, 2025, at 10:00-11:30 AM, followed by a memorial service at 11:30 AM at Schoedinger North, 5554 Karl Road, Columbus, OH 43229.

In honor of KC’s love of flowers, the family welcomes floral tributes or, if preferred, memorial donations may be made to the American Macular Degeneration Foundation.
