Shortly after I was born, the four of us moved to Youngstown, Ohio. This is where I started school. As years passed, my sister Sherry and brother J were both born there. Then just before Middle school we moved to Canton, Ohio. Here I would go on to graduate Timken Senior High School.
From the start, I loved to interact with people, have fun and laugh. In fact as early as kindergarten, my teachers' feedback to Mom, was and I quote "Krystal likes to put her work inside her desk and go off to visit". LOL. I couldn't help it, I loved to talk and laugh even then.
Now some may say I am a bit dramatic, my dad especially may feel this way. It was just something about the way he would say "Krystal J", I cried almost every time even if I wasn't in any real trouble. On second thought my sister Sherry may feel even stronger about me being dramatic as she always says that I am "doing too much". Well I don't know, because according to my sister Dee I am "all over the place". Now that I think about it my brother J may feel the strongest about my dramatics because I've always been extremely over protective of him. Then again Paul, and the children may feel the strongest. More about them in a minute. But you must see a pattern here. LOL.
Family has always been important to me. I've had the good fortune of having great family and friends. Being a good person that shows love and being someone family and friends could count are core values of mine.
Church was a requirement when grew and looking back I am very grateful that Mom made us go. I mean it was Bible study, Sunday school, the whole day Sunday, Vacation Bible School, and some Friday nights. But hey, who was keeping track. Turns out this was the best thing that ever could have happened to me, Thanks Mommy! Ultimately I developed my own relationship with Christ accepting Him at a young age and was baptized. Then as an adult I became a member of The Living Word Church here in Columbus, Ohio.
In 2010, I married my soul mate Paul. We are a team. Together we have quite the blended family. We brought together Aiza, Paul Jr, Isaac along with Taylor and Sydnee. Then added Izayah and Ivan to the crew. Remember I told you, I really love family. They keep me going and there is never a dull moment. I mean, I was always looking for action and boy did I get it. LOL.
It's a parade of characters: Aiza and Paul Jr. are the oldest, I watched them grow into respectful adults. Taylor, my first is most like me, sensitive, Sydnee is the funny, studious peacemaker, Isaac is the little-big brother, Izayah is the gentle giant, "Mr. Professor " and Ivan is the quintessential baby brother. I love it!
Well, we don't say Goodbye in my family, we say "Later". To my dear family and friends, I say "Later".
To cherish the memories, I leave:: parents: James Sr and Elaine; husband, Paul ; seven children, Asia, Paul Jr, Taylor , Sydnee Issac , Izayah , Ivan; three grandchildren, Braxton, Kayden , Bryce; two sisters, Dwana (Kevin Sr), Sherry; brother James Jr; grandmother; Lois , One niece Niyah ; four nephews, Kevin Jr, Craig Jr, Jalon and James III along with a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and friends.
