Kurt J. Russell, age 58, passed away on Wednesday, December 6, 2017. He was born in Columbus, Ohio on March 25, 1959 to the late William and Virginia Russell. Kurt graduated from Whetstone High School in 1977. He was a mechanic by trade and also worked for Jack Maxton Chevrolet. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Marty Russell; Uncle, Pasquale Giammarco; and his grandparents. He is survived by his loving aunt, Emma Gene Giammarco; step-mother, Kathy Russell; step-brother, Rob Judson; step-cousins, Pat and Debbie Giammarco; as well as many loving and supportive friends. A graveside service will be held on Monday, December 11, 2017 at 1:30pm at Union Cemetery (New Section) 3349 Olentangy River Rd., Columbus, Ohio 43202. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Kobacker House or OhioHealth Hospice in Kurt's name.
