

Kyle Place Frederick, age 26, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, September 3, 2011. In recent years, he courageously battled mental illness hoping to one day break free of it. In death, he has received new life. Kyle was born January 7, 1985 in Zanesville, Ohio. He was a 2003 graduate of Thomas Worthington High School where he participated in rugby, soccer, water polo and basketball. He also attended The Ohio State University. A very kind-hearted and creative young man, Kyle expressed himself through his guitar playing and composing, drawing and photography. He enjoyed listening to books on tape, exploring nature and fishing with his good buddies, Brad, Brian and Eric Elles. Kyle is survived by his mother, Stephanie (Place) Frederick; father and step-mother, John and Dee Frederick; sister, Emily Frederick and her fiancé, Jesse Armstrong; grandmother, Betty Frederick; stepbrother, Nic St. Pierre and stepsister, Jessica St. Pierre; aunts and uncles, Gerry (Ellie) Frederick, Jim (Robin) Frederick, Mary (Mark) Henry, Cindy (Aaron) Hossler, Milt (Lena) Place and his godmother, Sandra (Bob) Kattman; cousins, Chad, Randy (Whitney) and Molly Frederick, Dan (Angela) and Jason (Brandi) Kattman, Greg (Kate) Hossler, Annaliesa and Anthony Place, Tyler Henry and numerous good friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ray Frederick and Ned and Barbara Place. Family will receive friends 2-4 and 6-8pm Friday, September 9th at Schoedinger Worthington Chapel, 6699 N.
