

Laura C. Kelly, age 47 of Dublin, Ohio passed away at her home surrounded by her family and friends Monday, August 26, 2013. Laura was born in Pasco, Washington and grew up in Elkhart, Indiana, daughter of James and Bonnie Rodgers. Laura graduated from Ball State University and settled in Colorado with her family. While there she met and married the love of her life, John Kelly. They shared 14 wonderful years. Laura was a very caring and giving woman who had an outstanding and charismatic personality. Laura had unmatched strength and determination. She was extremely athletic, expert skier, runner and outstanding gymnast. Laura participated in many marathons and helped organized the Peggy Bock Memorial Race. Her greatest joy was being a wife and mother. She will be greatly missed by her loving husband, John Kelly; son, Jack Kelly; parents, James and Bonnie Rodgers; brother, Scot (Melanie) Rodgers; sister, Molly Schmitt; sister-in-law, Annmarie (Brian) Handiges; nephews, Christopher Rodgers, Eddie and Jonathan Schmitt and Sean Handiges; niece, Caitlin Handiges; faithful companion, Finnley; and many other extended family members and dear friends. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12 P.M. Friday, September 6, 2013 at St. Brigid of Kildare, 7179 Avery Rd., Dublin. Msgr. Joseph M. Hendricks, Celebrant.
