Brian, Pam and Alexis  ( The Laughlin/Perkins family) purchased the Fireside Basket - Blue, Yellow and White for the family of Laura Christine Kelly.

Laura was just such a nice lady with a great personality.  Every time I saw her on the street she was always smiling.  I had the pleasure of meeting her year ago when I moved on Glendavon Loop.  I am so sad that she passed away.  She is now smiling with the Lord.  May many blessings go out to John, Jack and her family.

As Kayce's Mom, I wanted you all to know that in life you are so lucky to have a friendship that Kayce and Laura had and John and Jack that friendship will pass on to you.  Beautiful Laura will never be forgotten by anyone who was fortunate to know her, beautiful wife, mom, daughter and friend. God bless all of you.

Paul and I would like to add our names to the long list of friends whom Laura touched.  We both have many memories of fun times with her going back to grade school.  Snow skiing at Swiss Valley,  cheerleading, riding in cars with No parents :) the smiles go on and on.  We are holding your family up in our prayers for healing and peace.

Laura was a best friend.  I have countless memories of way too much fun we had growing up in Elkhart, IN.  We had some of the best, best times and they continued at Ball State.  We had a very special bond, that she shared with many of her friends.  I had lost touch with her, so was very surprised to hear this news.  What a very special friend, a very special person.  She has a very special place in my heart.  My thoughts and prayers are with her family.

I met Laura in 2001 when we were both working for Quest Diagnostics and we became fast friends. She was my realtor when I bought my first house (reviewing listings over margaritas made it much more fun), one of my bridesmaids when I married my husband Jason, the first person I told when I found out I was pregnant with my daughter Evey and one of my go-to friends for everything important and not so important in life. Even though we haven’t lived in the same state for years, our friendship has stayed just as strong as it was in Texas and for that, I’m so grateful. We shared so many of the same passions from loving our husbands, kids and Golden Retrievers to cooking and baking to shopping the after-Halloween sales (OK, Christmas too…) at Pottery Barn Kids and Williams-Sonoma.  How I will miss settling in on the sofa with a glass of wine to spend an hour or three talking with her on the phone. Laura was an amazing person and I feel so blessed to have had her in my life.

To John, Jack and her entire family, please know that you are in my prayers and in the prayers of my family and friends as well. I’m so, so sorry she’s gone.

Remembering Laura whose smile lit up the room.  The day Jack came into her arms she was sitting on the sofa with Joey beside her and Laura had the most beautiful, happy and content look on her face it made me cry.

Thank You for being a dear friend to my daughter Sharon Brooks, as college room mates you two were quite a pair, everyday brought a new and funny experience. I loved the phone calls from Sharon telling me all your antics, you were  were really good kids.
Laura you are now in the Lord's arms and not suffering any longer.

Where to begin...in only a few years Laura and I became as close as sisters. It was an instant bond when we met and that bond continued to get stronger every day while working together, running together, and spending hours just talking laughing or justing sitting on the couch together with jack and Joey nearby. Laura was a gift sent to me from above, maybe from my mom ;) I will miss her twinkle in her eye when she got excited, her contagious laughter and easy spirit and her unconditional love. She was a gift to all that had the honor of calling her a friend. Rest in peace my forever friend. I know you have some furry friends that are glad you've come home:) Love you forever to the moon and back. Laurie
