Laurie Christine Burton, age 51, of Columbus, died Monday January 17, 2022, at Riverside Methodist Hospital. She was a care giver to many. Laurie loved yard sales, flea markets, and thrift stores, as well as both horse and car racing. She dabbled in interior design. Laurie will be remembered as a strong and independent woman. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Mindy Broughton; her father, David Broughton; nephews, David Carter and Joshua Radosevich. She is survived by her daughter, Misty Broughton; son, Richard Jennings; grandkids, Jayda, Jazlynn, Jaeonna, Jayleigh, Jace, Amiah, and Braxton; mother, Elsie Beasley; sisters, Christy Broughton (Shawn), Shelly (Jake) Radosevich, and Antoinette Broughton (Ryan); special nephew and nieces Billy Littler, Lindsey Littler and Harley Gray; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Friends will be received from 3-5:00 pm Thursday, January 20, 2022 at Heart & Hope by Schoedinger - Hilltop, 3030 West Broad Street, where a funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Friday, January 21, 2022. Interment will follow at Grove City Cemetery.
