Leo Young

Leo Young, age 78, passed away Wednesday, June 1, 2016 surrounded by his family. Leo was born February 8, 1938 in Warsaw, Ohio to the late Evelyn and Leo Young. Also preceded in death by his wife Suzanne (Tiedt) and his son (Sonny) Leo II. Leo was a hardworking man who retired from Signal and Delivery as head mechanic after 30+ years of diligent service. Leo is described by those who knew him best as head strong, generous to a fault, and very caring. Leo dutifully served his country during the Korean War in the United States Army. Leo will be greatly missed by his children, Dawn Beckett, Clarissa Petrie, Lynnangess (Walter) Snoke, Nickola (Mark Murphy) Sturtz, Lonnie Creachbaum, Richard Creachbaum, Serena Denise (Jeff) Dewalt, as well as numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Family will receive friends from 10 A.M. to 12 P.M. with a funeral service at 12 P.M. Tuesday June 7, 2016 at SCHOEDINGER MIDTOWN CHAPEL, 229 East State Street.
