Lewis Paul Brewer

Lewis Paul Brewer, age 87, of Reynoldsburg, Ohio was welcomed into the arms of the Lord on Saturday, October 25, 2014. He was born August 13, 1927 in Indianapolis, IN to the late Paul Revere and Audrey (Moses) Brewer. He was a U.S. Army Korean War Veteran and had retired from the Chrysler Corporation. Lew attended the Arthur Jordan Conservatory of Music and sang in the Indianapolis Symphonic Choir. He also sang in church choirs his entire life, and now enjoys a seat in the tenor section of God's Heavenly choir. He is survived by his beloved wife, Merla "Jeanne" (Higgason) Brewer, who accepted his hand in marriage on June 15, 1951 as well as two sons, Michael and Mark Brewer; daughters-in-law Becky Brewer and Linda Singer; grandchildren Christopher, Robert and Kristin Brewer; great-granddaughter Lily Brewer; sister Frances Moller; sister-in-law Maxine (Ted) Kenyon; extended family and friends. A Memorial Service will be held at 1pm Thursday, October 30, 2014 at Peace United Methodist Church, 235 Diley Rd., Pickerington, OH 43147 where family will receive friends beginning at 12noon; Pastor Bill Lyle, officiating.
