Lilibeth Callahan, age 64, passed away unexpectedly at Riverside Methodist Hospital on Sunday, May 6, 2012. She was born in Bellefontaine, Ohio on September 25, 1947 to the late Fredrick L. and Cleo (Short) Graham. She worked for various companies throughout her life, but her primary focus was always her family. She was first and foremost a wife and mother. She was a member of Northwest Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) for 37 years, and was a past President of the Board of Trustees. Lilibeth was an enthusiastic member of Beta Sigma Phi, Laureate Beta Rho chapter. She loved to travel to different countries with her family. Lilibeth and Tom also both shared a passion for antiquing. Lilibeth had the unique ability to laugh at herself and to think of life as an adventure. She was passionate about her friends and relationships, often giving common sense advice to those who asked. She could “light up a room” just by walking in. She will be dearly missed by all who was fortunate to call her a friend. She is survived by her loving husband of 43 years, Thomas J. Callahan; children, Patrick G. Callahan, Katharine (Joshua) Harms; grandson, Graham; first cousin and “sister,” Mary Alice (Donald) Wentzel; brother-in-law, Michael (Jane) Callahan and their family; many special cousins and friends; and her beloved dogs, Sophie and Sandy.
