Linda Kay Koontz

Linda Kay Koontz, age 60 of German Village, passed away Saturday, February 13, 2021. Linda was born in Marion, Ohio, only child of the late Stanley Eugene and Ethel Walter. Linda grew up in both Columbus and Marion. She graduated from Reynoldsburg High School and went on to earn an Associates Degree in Mechanical Engineering. She previously worked for BP and later ADT from where she retired after more than 15 years of dedicated service. Linda enjoyed being an active member of the Moose Lodge, Lancaster. She also greatly enjoyed traveling, especially to Gatlinburg, and dabbled in jewelry making and was a huge animal lover. Above all else, Linda was most passionate about her family, especially her children. She will be greatly missed by her loving husband, Jim Koontz; children, Jerry (Marge) Burton, Kristin Burton, and Dustin Koontz; grandchildren, Misty, Andrew, Cody, and Logan; several great grandchildren; mother and father-in-law, Jerry and Toni Koontz; and other extended family members and dear friends. Due to the current health conditions, Linda's family is planning a celebration of her life to be held at a later date.
