Linda Anne Smart

Linda Anne Smart, age 77, passed away Saturday, February 13, 2010. Linda was born June 19, 1932 to the late Bruce D. and Dorothy M. (Helm) Lewis and grew up in London, OH, where she graduated high school. She earned a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in English from Miami University and a master’s degree in Public Health Administration from the University of Hawaii. Linda retired after a career in Public Health Administration at OSU Hospital but continued to serve as a volunteer at the OSU Ross Heart Hospital. She was truly a world traveler and found great enjoyment in experiencing the world’s various cultures and cuisines. Linda is survived by her sons, Bruce, John, David (Suzanne), and Andrew (Ranita) Smart; grandchildren, Brennan, Carlin, William, Jackson, Anya, and Ashley; and sister, Mary (Frank) Jenkins. A celebration of Linda’s life will be held from 4-6 p.m. Wednesday, February 17 at the SCHOEDINGER NORTHWEST CHAPEL 1740 Zollinger Rd.
