Linda S Vaughan

Linda S. Vaughan, age 74, of Bexley, died Friday, January 20, 2023 at OSU Wexner Medical Center. She was born on December 20, 1948, in Sistersville, WVA, the daughter of Thomas W. Morris. Linda is survived by her husband of 55 years, Jerald Vaughan; daughters, Lisa (Kirby) Witmer, Columbus and Leslie (Stephen) Beckhorn, of Tampa, FL; grandson, Alexander Witmer; fur babies, Scout and Daisy; brother, Charles R. (Helen) Morris, of TX; other relatives and many friends. Besides her father and grandmother, Gertrude Morris who raised her, Linda was preceded in death by her daughter, Laura Vaughan. Linda was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, who was affectionately known by many as MacGyver, because of her “I can fix anything” demeanor. She worked for several years at the Franklin Park Conservatory. Most of all, she loved her family. Linda loved to cook, bake, interior decorate and was a wonderful seamstress. She was very artistic and never met a stranger. Friends may call 11:00 am-1:00 pm Friday, January 27, 2023 at SCHOEDINGER EAST, 5360 E. Livingston Avenue, Columbus, OH 43232, where funeral service will be held 1:00 pm Friday. Interment to follow at Glen Rest Memorial Estates.
