

She was preceded in death by her parents, Reverend Arnold and Dorothy Hahn; her siblings, Roy Hahn and Donna Quirk; and her niece and nephew, Vicky Taylor and Steven Hahn. She is survived by her daughter, Tambria Odell, and her husband, George Odell; her sister, Charlene Reynolds; her brother, Paul Hahn, and his wife, Nancy Hahn; her granddaughter, Kirsten Lindsay; as well as her nieces and nephews—Annie Hayes, Amy Bregman, Adam Rutkowski, and Mark Hahn—along with many beloved friends and healthcare providers.
Lois lived a life rooted in faith and service. She loved the Lord and was a lifelong member of the Lutheran Church – Missouri Synod. She was an active member of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, where she found fellowship and joy. Her giving spirit extended into the community through her longtime volunteer work with the Red Cross and her joyful participation in the Reynoldsburg Senior Center Chorus.
Professionally, Lois dedicated her entire career to Western Electric, Bell Labs, and Lucent, exemplifying loyalty and an unwavering work ethic.
Lois inspired many with her selfless caregiving to her aging parents, always putting others before herself. Her kind heart extended to animals as well—many cats and dogs were lovingly spoiled under her care, as she fostered and adopted countless pets throughout her life.
She was especially known for her sweet generosity, often treating her beloved granddaughter Kirsten and her devoted caregivers to thoughtful and delicious surprises. Summertime brought her special joy, as her patio would bloom with an overabundance of beautiful flowers—a reflection of the vibrant spirit she shared with the world.
A funeral service will be held at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, 766 S High Street, Columbus, OH 43206, at 11:00 AM on April 23, 2025. Burial to follow at Blendon Central Cemetery.
Lois’s legacy of love, faith, and kindness will be remembered and cherished by all who knew her.
