

Lois Jean (Overbeck) Johnson, age 85 of Delaware, passed away Tuesday, May 13, 2014. Lois was born and raised in Columbus, daughter of the late Earl C. and Ruth T. Overbeck. Lois graduated from Upper Arlington High School and Columbus Business School. Lois worked throughout her life along side of her husband Robert, who was the founder and owner of the Diamond Cellar. She was a very spiritual woman who had a strong faith in God. She was a past member of Calvary Bible Church and a current member of Grace Brethren Church. She enjoyed gardening, baking, and needlepoint, but most of all, Lois enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by her loving husband, Robert W. Johnson; children, Jeffrey S. (Deborah D.) Johnson, R. Andrew (Karen E.) Johnson, Laura Lee Dorl, and Jean Ann (Donald R.) Scott; grandchildren, Brian S., David C., Robert J., Shane E., Andrea K., Jesse J., R. Alex, and Austen C. Johnson and Jennie Lee, Cassandra Jean, and Katherine Anne Dorl; great grandchildren, Asher D. and Graham F. Johnson; and many other extended family members and dear friends.
