

Rean retired from Westminster-Thurber after 21 years in housekeeping. She had quite a green thumb for flower gardening and loved to work her Seek and Finds. Rean will be dearly missed by her family and will be remembered for her feisty personality.
In addition to her parents, Rean was preceded in death by her son, Randall Tackett; grandson, Brady Tackett; three brothers and three sisters. Rean will be missed by her loving husband of almost 50 years, Dorpha Tackett; daughter, Sheila Tackett; brother, Buford Trosper; sisters, Lovella Poindexter (Roy McKiddy), Sue (Robert) Kirby, and Jane Cummins; sister-in-law, JoAnn Trosper; cousin, Eunice Poindexter; two brothers-in-law and five sisters-in-law on Dorpha's side; and her loving dog companions Minnie and Sandy.
Family will receive friends Wednesday, September 11, 2013 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST CHAPEL, 1051 E. Johnstown Rd. (at Beecher Rd.), Gahanna, OH, where the funeral service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, September 12, 2013. Interment Mifflin Cemetery.
