She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Audrey Cenci. Loretta is survived by her husband of 33 years, Steve Rosenberger; children, Ryan and Stacy Rosenberger; brothers, Albert (Karen) Cenci, Ken (Bonnie) Cenci, Donald Cenci, and Marvin (Amy) Cenci; nieces, nephews and cousins.
Loretta devoted her life to helping others. She pursued a career in nursing after serving as a "candy-striper" as a teenager. Following her graduation from nursing school, she worked as a Registered Nurse at Mount Carmel East hospital for eleven years. While raising her children, she was a dedicated volunteer at Gahanna-Jefferson schools, with the St. Matthew Youth Choir, and for the Gahanna Convention and Visitors Bureau, working on various events, including the annual Creekside Blues and Jazz Festival. In recent years she gained tremendous joy from her next career as a preschool teacher and office assistant at Stonybrook Early Learning Center, where she was able to take advantage of her creativity, resourcefulness, and love of children.
It would be an understatement to describe Loretta as multi-talented. She was equally skilled at baking and gardening as she was at building a backyard clubhouse from scratch. She developed her own embroidery business and enjoyed singing in the Praise and Adult choirs at Church of the Resurrection. Always well-organized, Loretta's ability to problem-solve was among her greatest strengths.
Above all, Loretta cherished her family and her many friends, unfailingly putting the needs of others before her own.
