Marc D Sanders

Marc D. Sanders, age 51 of Centennial, Colorado passed away July 31, 2012. Marc was born on January 26, 1961, in Columbus, OH to the late Lee (Doc) and Barbara (Zelman) Sanders. Marc was a long time resident of Gahanna, OH and graduated from Gahanna Lincoln High School. As a young man he earned the rank of Eagle Scout from the Boy Scouts of America. Marc was a baseball coach for the “Rec” league and various travel teams. He had many interests in life; he enjoyed music, sports and collecting. Marc was an intelligent, jovial, and loving man, who will be greatly missed by his family and friends. He is preceded in death by his step mother, Eileen (Lear) Sanders and longtime companion, Karen Humphrey. He is survived by his children, Ashley Sanders, Zachary (Kelly) Sanders, Alycia Sanders and their mother Kathleen Sanders; sisters, Dyana Sanders and Sherri (Mindi) Scala-Sanders; nephew, Bailey and niece, Taylor. Friends may call from 4-7pm, Friday, August 24, 2012 at the Schoedinger Northeast Chapel, 1051 E. Johnstown Rd. (at Beecher Rd.) Gahanna where the memorial service will be held at 10:00am, Saturday, August 25, 2012. Celebrant Andrew Hoover officiating.
