Margaret L. Clyburn

Margaret L. Clyburn, age 99 of Columbus, passed away Tuesday, February 21, 2023. Margaret was born and raised in Greenfield, Ohio and graduated from Greenfield McClain High School, Class of 1941. Margaret worked as an office manager for Metzger Reynolds Insurance which then became Insurance Circle for 20 years. She was a past member Eastern Star and a longtime dedicated member of Northwest United Methodist Church. Margaret enjoyed spending winters in Naples, knitting, sewing and gardening, but most of all she enjoyed her weekly bridge games with friends. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Carl Clyburn, mother, Donna Shaw Cavanaugh, and grandparents who raised her, Phillip and Laura Shaw. She will be deeply missed by her son, Robert (Shirley) Clyburn; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and dear friends. Family will receive friends from 10-11 AM Monday, February 27, 2023 at SCHOEDINGER NORTHWEST, 1740 Zollinger Rd., where a funeral service will begin at 11 AM followed by a reception. Private family graveside service will be held at Greenfield Cemetery, Greenfield, Ohio.
