

Margaret Fox Gruenler, age 94, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away Saturday, June 23, 2012. Margaret was born October 13, 1917 to the late Ray and Esther (Clifford) Fox in Rangeley, Maine, a place that remained special to her throughout her life. As a young lady, Margaret worked in the banking industry, but for most of her life she served alongside her husband in several churches, the majority being at Calvin United Presbyterian Church. She opened her heart and her home to many over the years, and will be remembered for her love of gardening, her sewing skills and the crocheted blankets she lovingly made and gave as gifts. In retirement, Margaret and Harrison became world travelers, touring Israel, Europe, China, Africa, and countless other destinations. She is survived by two sons, Carl and Bruce Gruenler; grandchildren, Sarah, Julia, Joshua, and Brooke; 9 great grandchildren; brother-in-law, Dr. Royce (Grace); sister-in-law, Ruth; and many other extended family members and dear friends. Funeral services will be held at 10 A.M. Friday, June 29, 2012 at Calvin United Presbyterian Church, 2900 Winchester Pike. Family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. Thursday at SCHOEDINGER EAST CHAPEL, 5360 E. Livingston Ave. Columbus, OH 43232; Interment Arlington Field of Honor.
