Margaret L. Ryan

Margaret Ryan was born September 17, 1929 and passed away in her sleep on July 1, 2019, ending a valiant struggle with Alzheimers. The stars shine even brighter now that she has gone to Heaven. Margaret grew up in Columbus, Ohio where she attended Central High School until 1946 when she married her high school sweetheart, Joe Ryan. They were married for 71 years. Joe preceded her in death by a year and a half. They moved to Dublin, Ohio in 1954, a small village at the time that she considered to be one of the best moves of her life. She raised their family of 4 and is survived by Mike, John, Casey (Kristin) and Laura as well as her grandchildren, Lisa

Epperly (Mark), Jeff Ryan (Robin), Kevin Ryan (Amber), Krissy Corcoran (Dennis); 8 great and 3 great-great grandchildren spanning 5 generations. Margaret was a homemaker and excellent mother, devoting her life to make sure that her kids had "roots to grow and wings to fly". She worked as a temp at the Dublin Post Office for many years as needed. Marg was an active member of Metro Fitness for nearly 25 years and made a large group of friends through working out and water aerobics. She will be greatly missed by so many. The Ryan family thanks Glenwood Memory Care Facility and Capitol City Hospice for their wonderful care and attention. Interment will be at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens with a committal service in the Chapel on Wednesday, July 17, 2019 at 2:00 pm with a reception afterwards.
