Margaret J. "Peggy" Thomas

Margaret J. “Peggy” Thomas, age 80 of Gahanna, went home to be with the Lord, Wednesday, March 10, 2010. Margaret was born and raised in Wellsville, Ohio daughter of the late Edward and Florence Ryan. Also preceded in death by her husband, Henry Thomas, and brothers, Ed, Dick, Don, and Jim Ryan. Margaret retired from Ohio Bell in 1992. She was a very proud wife, mother, and grandmother and her family always remained the most important thing in her life. She is survived by her loving children, Mark (Karen Ries) Thomas, Scott (Theresa) Thomas, Dale Thomas, Judy (Troy) Elzey, and Kim (Chuck) McGrothers; grandchildren, Kari, Michelle, Ashley, Breanne, Matthew, and Aiden; sisters, Patricia McFarlane, Joyce (Richard) Ruble, Mary Davis, and Becky (Jim) Merriman; and many other extended family members and dear friends. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 A.M. Monday, March 15, 2010, at St. Matthews Catholic Church, 807 Havens Corners Rd. Family will receive friends from 2-6 P.M. both Saturday and Sunday at SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST CHAPEL, 1051 E. Johnstown Rd. Father Adam Streitenberger officiating. Entombment Resurrection Catholic Cemetery.
