

Margaret Wehner, 89, of Dublin, passed away on June 1, 2021. She was born in Seattle WA, on May 29, 1932, to the late William and Villa Margaret (Spencer) Roberts. In addition to her parents, Margaret was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Wehner.
Margaret who went by "Peg" was an outgoing, vivacious loving person. Everyone who knew her loved her and was always encouraged by her loving spirit. She was a member of the St. Thomas More Newman Center where she sang in the choir and led Pre Cana and Marriage enrichment groups. She was a talented vocalist who loved music. She performed in many theatre productions as a young adult. In her retirement years, she was part of a Senior Tap Dance group, The Gingersnaps. They performed all over Central Ohio for Senior Centers and Nursing Homes. She received her bachelor's and Master's degree from Ohio State University. She started her work career as a Registered Nurse in the Obstetrics Department at Ohio State University Medical Center. She became a School Nurse and then after obtaining her Master's Degree, was an Administrator for the Columbus Public Schools in the Department of Evaluation and Research. She returned to her roots as a School Nurse before retiring.
Margaret will be greatly missed by her children, Michael (Roxane) Wehner, Gail (Ned) McCoy, and Mark (Cathy) Wehner; brother, William (Audrey) Spencer; grandchildren, Nathan, Nicole, Nolan, Ben, Michael Katherine, Spencer, Lauren, and Rachel; and great-grandchild, Hayley.
A funeral celebrating Margaret's life will be held at 12:00pm Tuesday, June 8th, 2021 at the SCHOEDINGER WORTHINGTON CHAPEL, 6699 North High Street. Her family will receive friends there from 10am until the start of the service. Burial will follow at Union Cemetery.
