Maria Terese Davies

Maria T. Davies passed away in her home on June 17th, 2017. She was preceded in death by her parents, Dolores and Steve Sarisky and is survived by her husband, Greg Davies; her two children, Anna and Stephen Davies; her three sisters, Sue LaPuma, Kathy Tiedman, and Beth Sarisky, and countless other family and close friends. Born February 6th, 1966 in Kirtland, Ohio, Maria lived in Columbus since 1984 when she came to the Ohio State University to pursue her bachelor's degree in occupational therapy. She was a dedicated occupational therapist and worked with the children of Hilliard City Schools for 25 years. Endlessly compassionate, Maria loved nothing more than bringing light and joy to the many people in her life. Her love, strength, and wisdom brought the best out of everyone who shared their time with her. Family will receive friends from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and again from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, June 23 at SCHOEDINGER NORTHWEST CHAPEL, 1740 Zollinger Rd. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Saturday, June 24, 2017 at St. Agatha Church, 1860 Northam Rd. Interment to follow at Union Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Maria's memory may be made to Kobacker House c/o OhioHealth Foundation, 180 E. Broad St. 31St FL, Columbus, OH 43215.
