

Maribeth Quinn was born in Mineola, NY on Aug 3, 1962 to John and Phyliss Quinn. She lived in Hicksville NY until 1977 when she moved to Sterling, VA. After earning her bachelor's degree from Virginia Tech, Maribeth lived in a few places such as Roanoke, VA and Laurinburg, NC until she made Columbus, Ohio her home. While in Columbus she earned her master's degree from Ohio State University. She worked at Nationwide's Children Hospital for 15 years, the last 2 as Director of IT. An avid traveler, Maribeth has visited many parts of the world, including Alaska, Ireland, France, and the Caribbean. An avid sports fan Maribeth both loved to watch and participate in sports. She played basketball and softball in high school and played in recreational leagues her whole adult life. A runner, she participated in half marathons and 5Ks. She was a dedicated fan to the New York Mets, New York Giants, Virginia Tech Hokies and the Ohio State Buckeyes. Maribeth is survived by three brothers, Kenneth, Dennis , and Brian Quinn, 4 nieces and 2 nephews and her beloved pets, Murphy, Kanji and Hudson. Family and friends will gather from 3-7 pm Friday, February 19, 2016 at the Schoedinger Northwest Chapel, 1740 Zollinger Road, where her celebration of life service will be held at 10am Saturday, February 20, 2016 with Andrew Hoover officiating.
