Marilyn Elizabeth Brown, age 83, passed away on Saturday, March 19, 2011. She was born in Newark, Ohio, on July 10, 1927, and she worked for The Timken Co. Marilyn was kind and sociable, and she always kept up with the lives of her family and friends. She enjoyed bird watching, reading, and flowers, and in her younger years, cooking, bowling, traveling to Hawaii, and Bingo. She was preceded in death by her husband, Peavy Wilson Brown; and parents, Pete Mischler and Ethel Tomlinson. She is survived by her children, Rosemary Brown and Charles Brown; cousin, Carolyn Loeffler and her children, Kathy, Patti, Louie, and Barbara and their families; and other extended family members. Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, March 23, 2011, at the SCHOEDINGER NORTH CHAPEL, 5554 Karl Road. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday at the funeral home, Celebrant Andrew Hoover officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
