Marilyn Robison Hinton

Marilyn Robison Hinton, age 95, of Columbus, Ohio passed away on Jan. 17, 2025. She was born on March 5, 1929 to the late Hazel (Latta) Sines and grew up in Columbus, Ohio. She moved out of state and returned to Ohio in 1964. Marilyn joins in death her late husbands Charles Robison and John R. Hinton Jr. She also joins in death her son David Robison and son in law Joseph Ringwalske and step daughter Diana Sass. Marilyn leaves behind her son John (Darrolyn) Robison, daughter-in-law Marcia Robison and daughter Elizabeth Ringwalske; grandchildren Chad, Trevor, Alicia and Taylor; great grandchildren Trevor Jr., Caleb, Westley, Liam and Tucker. Marilyn and John married in 1980 and they traveled to about 30 countries and then extensively toured the USA! Marilyn attended the Methodist Church, and became very active Crossroads United Methodist Church (formerly Brookshire United Methodist Church) after her retirement. She was also involved in the Ann Simpson Davis Chapter of DAR and the West Columbus Christian Women’s Club. Visitation will be held on Wednesday Jan. 22, 2025 from 1P – 3P & 4P – 6P at the Advantage by Schoedinger – Hilltop Chapel, 3030 W Broad St., Columbus, Ohio 43204. Funeral service will be held on Thursday Jan. 23, 2025 at 10AM at Crossroads United Methodist Church, 1100 S Hague Ave, Columbus, OH 43204. Burial will follow in Union Cemetery. In lieu of flowers in memorial donations may be made to either Crossroads United Methodist Church or the Ann Simpson Davis Chapter of DAR, 730 Maurine Drive, Columbus, Ohio 43228-3012.
