Our Mother, Marilyn Williams, joined our Heavenly Father on Tuesday February 9th, 2021. She was surrounded by the love her life, Kurt Williams, and her daughters, Kaylyn and Karrie, in the comfort of her home. We are grateful to have had been with her as she was welcomed into Heaven. She was our warrior, battling pancreatic cancer for the past year. She will live on in our hearts each and every day. She was a beloved daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, friend, and colleague. Marilyn spent her career as a Mortgage Loan Officer. She enjoyed family vacations, working in her garden, dancing, entertaining, playing cards, babysitting the grandkids, but most of all spending time with friends and family. Her smile was infectious and had a way of making all feel welcome. Her love and kindness were the best gifts she could have given us and we will forever live by her teaching.
Until we see you again, love you dearly, Momma.
Marilyn is preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Doris Madison and brother, Dennis Madison. She will be greatly missed by her husband, Kurt; daughters, Kaylyn (Mike) Ruffing and Karrie (Henry) Richter; grandchildren, Benjamin William and Emily Madison; siblings, Bevely Rossetter, Ronald (Paulette) Madison, and Linval Madison; and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
We are respecting her wishes and will have an open casket service with only immediate family, at Schoedinger Funeral Home in Dublin, Ohio on Friday February 12, 2021. Reverend Jennifer Eastman Hinkle will be officiating the service. The service will be live streamed starting at 4pm, The link is https://webcasts.lifetributes.com/1120056 and all are welcome! In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Dublin Presbyterian Church (USA) or to Pancreatic Cancer research at pancan.org.
After the service, she will be cremated and when the timing is appropriate, she will be taken to her hometown, Bowling Green, KY. We will have a memorial service at Oakland Baptist, her family's church, for family and friends.
Lastly, we will have a celebration of life service at her home church Dublin Presbyterian Church, in Dublin, Ohio. Mom and Dad are founding members of this church and it has been a huge blessing throughout the years. The service will happen when the timing is appropriate.
Thank you for all your love, prayers and support throughout the hardest year of our lives. We have felt all of them and we are eternally grateful.
