

Marjorie Munn Brown, age 90, of Upper Arlington, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 14, 2014, after a 3 year struggle with Alzheimer's disease. She was born on September 15, 1924 in Toledo, Ohio to Paul and Maude Munn. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Bayard Brown; and second husband, Wiley Welton; daughter, Susan Brown; grandson, Patrick Brown; and her brothers, Ted, David, and Donald Munn. She is survived by her loving sons, Rick (Ellen) Brown and Jeff (Patty) Brown; grandchildren, Ben Brown, Chris (Kristin) Brown, Lesley (Mike) Koskey, Alex (Courtney) Brown; great-grandchildren, Morgan and Liam Brown; extended family and friends. Marjorie was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother. She co-founded Brown Shoes Inc. in Upper Arlington's Tremont Center with her first husband, Bayard back in 1964. Marjorie was a member of Daughters of American Revolution, Scioto Boat Club, TWIG, La Sertoma and 60 year member of First Community Church where she volunteered at the Trading Post for 50 years as well as the Couple's Circle. Most of all Marjorie enjoyed life in the company of family and friends. Friends may visit on Monday, December 22, 2014 from 6-8 pm at the SCHOEDINGER NORTHWEST CHAPEL, 1740 Zollinger RD. A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date.
