Marjorie will be remembered for her gentle spirit, kind heart, and the quiet but meaningful ways she showed love to those around her. She had a natural warmth that made people feel welcomed and at ease, and she carried herself with a grace that left a lasting impression on everyone she met.
She found joy in life’s simple pleasures. Marjorie had a special love for collecting Hummel figurines, each one carefully chosen and treasured. She was an avid reader of mystery novels, always enjoying the intrigue of a good story. Her generous nature was evident in ways both big and small. She worked diligently to collect and preserve her family’s history, spending countless hours scrapbooking and documenting memories so they would be cherished for generations to come.
Marjorie was preceded in death by her mother, Luella (Garno) Green; her father, Harold Green; her beloved husband, William “Bill” Lallathin; and her brother, Jim Green.
She is survived by her sister, Laurel (Duke) Wagoner of Mount Vernon; her brother, Joseph Green of Athens; and numerous nieces and nephews who adored her and will forever cherish her memory.
Marjorie’s life was a testament to kindness, generosity, and quiet strength. Though she is no longer with us, her spirit lives on in the love she gave and the lives she touched.
A private ceremony with family to celebrate the life of Marj will be held at a later date
