Martina Christine Stonerock, age 55, passed away on January 26th, 2017 after a courageous battle with Cancer. Born to her loving parents Richard and Johanna Weimar in Frankfurt, Germany, Martina was an adventurous and fun loving kid with a big heart. She would go on as a young adult to graduate from college, pursuing Pharmacy. Her love of people and helpful nature carried with her, as she spent most of her time as a caregiver in an assisted living facility in Germany. Martina met her husband, David, on May 22, 1993 while he was deployed in Germany during his commitment to the Army. They were married only two years later on May 24, 1995. Their love for each other would continue just as strong as ever until her final days. Martina was also a huge participant in the Army Family Team Building organization, where she helped design housing as well as caring for military spouses. She was a woman who loved to learn, and was always pursuing new information. She knew three different languages, and made it a point to know about the people and culture of wherever she lived. She loved games, especially puzzles, as well as knitting and tending to her beautiful garden. More than anything in the world, Martina loved her family. She was a caring and strong woman, who will be dearly missed by those who knew her. Martina is preceded in death by her father. Left to mourn her passing are her loving husband David; her children Robert (Courtney) Stonerock, Philipp Stonerock, Antonia Stonerock and Kristina (Zane) Sparks. Also left to mourn are her 5 grandchildren; her brothers Gunter (Maggie) Weimar and Udo Weimar; as well as many other family and friends. Visitation will be held at Defenbaugh-Wise-Schoedinger Funeral Home, located at 151 East Main St. Circleville, Ohio on Monday, January 30 from 10 to 11:30am with a funeral service following. Father Ted Machnik will be officiating, and burial will take place at St. Joseph Cemetery in Circleville
