Marvin D. Jones

Marvin D. Jones, age 55, passed away unexpectedly on January 31, 2014. He was a baker at Jolly Pirate Donuts and an avid Browns and Buckeye fan. Above all, Marvin will be remembered for his great sense of humor and for being a loyal and dedicated family man and employee. He was a loving husband to his wife of 19 years, Linda (Lang) Jones; also survived by sons, Dewayne (Krystal) and Billy; grandson Jordan; mother, Gertrude “Trudy” Jones; siblings Wilma (John) Meeks, Kathy (Jeff) Dortmund, Bart (Sherry) Jones, Linda (Mike) Murray, John (Dee) Jones and Judy Jones; mother-in-law Mary Lang; sisters-in-law Sandra Lang and Lorraine Clarida; brothers-in-law Jeff, Mark and Tony Lang; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11am Monday, February 3, 2014 at Schoedinger Grove City Chapel, 3920 Broadway, where family will welcome friends from 10-11am.
