Mary Teresa Doyle

Mary T. Doyle, age 84, passed away peacefully April 16, 2018 in Columbus, Ohio. She was born on October 3, 1933 in Brooklyn, NY to the late Dennis and Mary (Counighan) Doyle. Also preceded in death was her loving husband, Richard "Skip" Doyle; parents, George and Amelia Doyle; son, George Richard Doyle; brother, Dennis Doyle; and brother-in-law, Mike McDade. Mary graduated from Our Lady of Victory High School and attended The Ohio State University. Mary loved animals and was very social with a great sense of humor and many friends. She was a longtime member of St. Andrew Catholic Church. In her early years she loved bowling in the Catholic bowling league at Fiesta Lanes. Mary is survived by grandsons, Christopher Malcolm and Sean Doyle; sister-in-laws, Frances Doyle and Patti McDade; special friend, Vicky Tepley; cousin, Alice Hollern; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. The family would like to give a special thank you to the staff at Crown Pointe for the wonderful care Mary received. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:15 a.m., Saturday April 21, 2018 at St. Andrew Catholic Church, 1899 McCoy Road, Upper Arlington, Ohio 43220, where family will receive friends from 9:45 a.m. until time of service.
