Mary Marie Koenig, age 86, passed away on Monday, March 26, 2012. She was born on November 10, 1925, to the late Henry and Lillian Roberts and was a lifelong resident of the Columbus area. Mary worked for several years at Timken Roller Bearings, and she retired from Crane Plastics. She enjoyed working in her yard, going to flea markets, and Native American culture. Mary is survived by her son, Steven Koenig; sisters, Lillian Sanders and Viola Sites; as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband, Benjamin Carl Koenig in 1977; brother, Kenneth Roberts; and sister, Grace Dunham. Family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, March 29, 2012, at the SCHOEDINGER NORRIS CHAPEL, 3920 Broadway, Grove City. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home; Celebrant Andrew Hoover officiating. Interment will follow at Grove City Cemetery.
