Mary Alice Moore

God summoned an angel Mary A. Moore, age 59, into his good graces to welcome her into his kingdom. She passed away unexpectedly on Friday November 8, 2019. Mary Alice was born October 8, 1960 in Bessemer, Alabama to Homer and Mary (Schmeck) Lynch.

She began working as a Server and then promoted to Corrections Officer at Orient Corrections (CCRC). She was a devoted grandmother who enjoyed nothing more than spending time with her grandchildren. She enjoyed spending her time playing games, bonfires, painting her nails, drinking her diet soda, and her best friend, Jake. Mary is preceded in death by her parents, Mary and Homer Lynch; grandmother, Laura E Schmeck; aunt, Ruth M. Prose; cousin, Betty June Bealer; and her dogs Scoot and Sparky. Left to cherish her memory are sons, Scott Moore and Shawn (Deirdra Howard) Moore; grandchildren, Shawn and Destiny Moore; nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends. Fly high baby girl... paw.
