Mary Rybski

Mary Christine Rybski, age 93, of Columbus passed away Saturday, February 13, 2021 at Mother Angeline McCrory Manor. Upon beginning her teaching career in a one room school house, she graduated with her Bachelors of Science in Education from The Ohio State University in 1951. She retired as a Special Education Teacher with the Columbus Public Schools. She is preceded in death by husband, Vernon in 2009 and son, Dan in 2008. Survived by children, Debra (Rich) Livingston, Tom (Melinda) Rybski, Bob (JoAnn) Rybski, Mary Ann (Dean) Wheeler, Margaret (Vince) Pepper, and daughter-in-law, Sandy Rybski; 13 grandchildren; and 6 great grandchildren. Following COVID-19 precautions, there will be a Catholic mass for family and close friends at 11am on Friday, February 19, 2021 at Church of the Resurrection, 6300 Dublin-Granville Rd, New Albany, Ohio 43054, with Father Denis Kizogi officiating. Interment at Resurrection Cemetery. Her faith was the compass to her being. She was a good and faithful servant to the Lord.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the children's CREED program at the Church of the Resurrection in Mary's memory.
