Mary Ellen Underhill

Mary Ellen Underhill, age 95, of Reynoldsburg, Ohio passed away Saturday, July 11, 2020 at home. She was born in Sikeston, Missouri on December 28, 1924 to the late Clarence and Maggie (Johnson) Wyatt. Mary was a loving devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend. In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd M. Underhill, Sr.; 10 brothers and sisters. She is survived by her daughters, Ruth Underhill of Reynoldsburg, OH, Norma (Junior) Pyle of Dexter, MO; Sandra (Ronnie) Cobb of Reynoldsburg, OH; sons, Floyd (Belinda) Underhill, Jr. of Sikeston, MO, CH (Ann) Underhill of Columbus, OH; brother, Carl (Jean) Wyatt of Atlanta, GA; sister, Wanda (Joe) Brown of Dallas, TX; 12 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, 18 great great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. A private family service will be held on Friday, July 17, 2020 at Schoedinger East Chapel, 5360 E. Livingston Ave., Columbus, OH 43232, where the family will receive friends 11 am until 1pm. Attendance levels will be monitored in compliance with social distancing requirements. We respectfully require all guests to wear a mask for everyone's continued safety at this time. Visitation will be held Monday July 20, 2020 at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston, MO. from 11:00 a.m. until the time of graveside service at 1:00 p.m. at Garden of Memories Cemetery in Sikeston, MO. with Rev. Jason Schrieber, officiating. Pallbearers: Tim Davis, Mike Haney, Ben Haney, Chris Hummel, Garrett Savage and Landen Savage. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a charity of your choice.
