Mary Lou Whitehead, age 73, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, November 27, 2011. She was born in Parkersburg, W.Va., the daughter of Alexander B. Whitehead and Cleo (Barnhart) Whitehead. Preceded in death by father Alexander and mother Cleo, and special friend Steve Palermini. Survived by sisters, Shirley J. (Whitehead) and Ottie F. Watson of Millington, TN, Karen S. (Whitehead) and Bill Radaker of Rutland, VT, and Emily D. (Whitehead) and James E. Phillips of Hilliard, OH; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Mary Lou was a ray of sunshine, always smiling. She never met a stranger and was loved by everyone. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, December 2, 2011, with visitation from 11 a.m. until the time of service, at the SCHOEDINGER NORTH CHAPEL, 5554 Karl Road, Columbus, Ohio.
