Mayme M. Lawler, 91, of Columbus, passed away Wednesday, November 23, 2011 at Arbors West. Mayme was born in Portsmouth, OH on May 19, 1920 to the late John and Ethel Pollard. She was a member of Crossroads United Methodist Church and the Moose Lodge. Mayme and her husband traveled to Florida, Hawaii and Las Vegas. She is preceded in death by Joseph her loving husband of 64 years, on October 31, 2011. Mayme is survived by sons Charles “Chuck” Lawler and Joseph R. Lawler, Jr., Jess Malone, Dean Malone, Neome Guier, Charles Malone, 14 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held Saturday, November 26 and Sunday, November 27 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at SCHOEDINGER HILLTOP CHAPEL, 3030 W. Broad St. where a funeral service will be held Monday, November 28 at 10 AM with Rev. Karen Cook officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Cemetery.
