Melinda Sue Matthews

Feisty and outspoken, she continued to pick herself up when life knocked her down.

She loved dogs, babies, music, shopping and Mexican food, but most of all, she loved her family.

She leaves behind to mourn her passing her Mother Sue Garriott; husband Bryan Matthews; children Amanda (Nick) Fatula, Alison Baker, Cody, Kaitlyn and Tristan Smith; stepchildren Taylor and Faith Matthews; grandchildren Carson Fatula and Deja Janoski; brother Joshua Garriott; grandmother Norma Alley; and her beloved dog Jax.

She was preceded in death by her father, Jerry Garriott; grandparents Ed and Louise McCauley, and Jack and Lil Garriott.

The family will receive friends from 12-1 PM with a memorial service at 1PM on Sunday, November 4, 2018 at SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST, 1051 E. Johnstown Rd., Gahanna.
