Melvin Earl Hane, 55 of Grove City, died Monday, November 12, 2012. He was born October 30, 1957 in Columbus to Theresa (Bright)Hane and the late Wilbert Hane. He was a U.S. Marine veteran and the very much loved Head Custodian with Columbus City Schools for 30 years. He enjoyed recycling, fishing and his family. He was a devoted and loving husband, father and grandfather and will be dearly missed. In addition to his mother he is survived by Connie, his loving wife of 27 years, four children Jason (Aubrey), Melissa, Melvin II “Sonny” and Phillip, four grandchildren Kayleigh, Trinidy, Haylee and Bradon, siblings Richard, Debbie and J.R, and nephews, father and mother in-law Donald and Darlene Emerson, sister-in-law Linda Emerson and brother-in-law Chris Emerson.. Family will receive friends Friday from 6-8 PM at SCHOEDINGER GROVE CITY CHAPEL, 3920 Broadway, where a funeral service will be held Saturday at 10 AM.
