Michael Caudill

Michael (Mike) Caudill, 46, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly on June 28, 2021 at St. Ann's Hospital. Michael was born on April 4, 1975 in Columbus, Ohio to Willie H. Caudill and the late Rebecca Gene Hicks Caudill; he was the baby of four children. He graduated from New Albany High School in 1993. Michael was a talented football player through his school years and loved watching his favorite NFL team, the Dallas Cowboys, along with his OSU Buckeyes.

Michael worked alongside his father at Buckeye Unlimited Upholstery for the last eighteen years. He was his father's right-hand man, and there wasn't much Michael didn't know about the business. He loved to watch his Buckeyes on Saturdays at the Worthington Moose Lodge, where he was a member since 2006.

Michael accepted Christ in 1995 and took great comfort in reading his Bible often. He enjoyed spending time with his nieces and nephews, and will be remembered for the love and commitment he showed his to his family.

Michael is survived by his father, Willie H. Caudill and step-mother, Dee Caudill; brothers, Harold Caudill, Steve (Cassie) Caudill and his children; step-brother, Jimmy Eppich and his family; Hollian Patete and her family; and several aunts, uncles, and many great friends. Michael will now be at rest with his mother, Rebecca Gene Hicks, and his sister, Debbra Ann.

Family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 7, 2021 at SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST FUNERAL HOME, 1051 E. Johnstown Rd., Gahanna, from 2-4pm and 6-8pm. A funeral service will be held Thursday, July 8 at 1pm at the funeral home. Pastor Wayne Booth to officiate. Interment to follow at Maplewood Cemetery in New Albany, Ohio.
